Grand Lake has always been a peaceful town during the autumn season. Finally returning to her hometown, L.J. is eager to reunite with her favorite cousins, but dreading the funeral of her Grandmother and the pestering of her Aunts and Uncles.
As she reunites with her family, she quickly realizes their drama, along with the restless and eerie nights are the least of her problems. What has moved into her little town is leaving the safety of the shadows and letting its presence known. A bonding must be completed and the creature is starving for the flesh of humans, making a funeral the perfect hunting grounds.
